Kevin W. Voeks, age 56 of Glenview and Lake Bluff, Illinois passed peacefully on November 4, 2026 in Libertyville, Illinois surrounded by his family.
Kevin found his greatest joy in the outdoors, where he felt closest to both nature and his faith. He especially enjoyed spending time near the water, taking in the peaceful beauty of a quiet shoreline, a flowing river, or the majesty of the mountains. A devoted Green Bay Packers fan, Kevin also looked forward to his visits to Wisconsin, a place that brought him many happy memories. Yellowstone National Park was a destination he long dreamed of visiting, and though he never had the opportunity to make the journey, its rugged beauty and wonder always held a special place in his heart.
A man of deep and unwavering faith, Kevin lived his life guided by his devotion to God. The Church was an important part of his life, providing him with strength, fellowship, and purpose. He found great fulfillment in serving others, offering kindness, compassion, and a helping hand whenever it was needed. His faith was not only something he believed in, but something he lived each day through his actions, generosity, and care for those around him.
Kevin is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Linda (Gary) Marsik, Diane (Roland) Mecham, twin sisters Vicki (James) Lee and Vivian (Michael) Schwan, twin brother Kenneth Voeks, and Tammy (Joe) Thompson. A devoted uncle and great-uncle, Kevin shared a special bond with his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who brought him tremendous joy and were the source of much pride throughout his life.
Kevin shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Turbo, who was his faithful buddy and constant companion. Whether at home or enjoying the outdoors, Turbo was rarely far from his side, providing friendship, comfort, and unwavering loyalty throughout the years.
