Marie Jurgens

Marie “Milena” Jurgens, 89 of Vernon Hills, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024.

Marie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, an avid shopper and enthusiastic gift giver.

Born on November 2, 1934, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Bozo Ristich and Anna Glogovac. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Wayne Jurgens and her beloved children, Leslie Jurgens, Duane (Nicole) Jurgens, Paul (Mary) Jurgens, and Susan (Ken Leibman) Wings. Cherished grandmother of Erika, Kevin (Erin), Jamie (Nate), James, Danny, Reese, Michael (Ellen), Elizabeth, Sarah (Anthony), Christine and Nathan. Adoring great grandmother of Nathan, Scarlett, Nolan, Levi and Malcom. Fond sister of Robert “Bozo” (Barbara) Ristich and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by loving parents Bozo (Anna) Ristich and her dear sister Emily “Emilia” King and fond brothers Sam “Simo” Ristich and Miller “Milorod” Ristich.
