Sophia N. Saravelas

Presbytera Sophia N. Saravelas, 86 years young of Boston, passed beautifully with family at her home in Illinois on April 19, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Father Kyriakos. Beloved Aunt to her nephew Dean (Wendy) Nickols, Niece to Cleopatra (the late John) Bruce, Joanne (the late Keith) Haeffele. Being laid to rest alongside family, she was Adored by her parents Cleopatra and Gust Nickols, her brother Andrew (Helen) Nickols and sister Harriett Speren. Very proud great aunt to many nieces, nephews, great grand nieces and nephews who she adored more than words.

Sophia was an educator who touched many lives. She was a loyal and faithful soul who inspired others through her unwavering dedication and compassion. A very active member to the Greek church where she had many friends who she cherished very much.

Sophia will be missed and loved eternally by all.
